Audi Uptown Markham 2025 Groundbreaking Ceremony

We celebrated the groundbreaking of the future Audi Uptown Markham on June 18, 2025, marking a major milestone in our commitment to progress, innovation, and the Markham community.

Guided by the vision and leadership of Helen Ching-Kircher (Dealer Principal, President and CEO), this event was more than the start of construction. It represented a defining moment in a journey that began in 1983. Helen Ching-Kircher reflected on the trust the community has placed in Audi Uptown Markham and the dedication of her team in delivering over 2,000 new and pre-owned vehicles and servicing more than 13,000 vehicles in the past year alone. Her forward-looking vision for the new facility focuses on innovation in design, service, and technology. The dealership will embody Audi’s core belief, “Progress through Technology”, creating a state-of-the-art experience built for the road ahead.

With her attention to detail and commitment to exceptional experiences, Helen Ching-Kircher ensured the ceremony reflected the brand’s sophisticated, dynamic, and community-focused spirit. The groundbreaking celebrated our history, acknowledged the present, and inspired the future of Audi Uptown Markham.

Alongside Helen Ching-Kircher, we acknowledge the leadership of Dr. Peter Kircher (Executive Vice President), Ken Tsui (Vice President), and Fred Marmugi (General Manager) for their invaluable contributions. We were also joined by distinguished guests from Audi Canada, including Vito Paladino (President), Doug Black (Senior Director of Sales), and Alex Yandle (Director of Business Development), as well as Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Regional Councillors Alan Ho and Joe Li, MPP Logan Kanapathi (Markham Thornhill), and MPP Billy Pang with Dickson Mak (Markham Unionville). Their presence added to the significance of this occasion. Thank you to everyone who helped mark this exciting new beginning.
